Whether you can afford it or not, tell us what you really want in your next, or even first 1911 platform and a little about why, as if that's necessary. Being 1911 addicts, we all have the urge. Show your pics too. :thumb:
I've been lusting after the Ed Brown Molon Labe model for a while. I love the message as well as the profile.
Well I put 200 rounds of Remington Umc 230 gr ball through her and she handled every round without a glitch I worked from about 7 yards and 15 yards. The Legacy was spot on where I pointed it it pretty much put it. I also have steel spinner targets and it was spot on there as well. This 1911 was such a different feel and so precise.
This may be another of those like the best 1911 thread, but am wondering everyone's opinion as to the best leather holster for the 1911. I have an Ed Brown Special Forces Carry coming and wanted to get a nice holster, magazine carrier, and belt for it, and can't decide what to get. I've read about Milt Sparks, El Paso Saddlery, Del Fatti, and some others, the names of which I can't remember right now. For a real nice rig, maybe (doesn't have to though) with some exotic skin on it, who would you suggest?
I think the Dan Wesson Specialist is the most for your money 1911.
What do you guys/gals think?
Another thread got me thinking about this....what was your first 1911, and do you still have it? Mine was a Springfield LWCO, and I don't still have it. It was followed shortly by a Springfield TRP (that I sold but recently got back), but there has been no looking back since!
