Ruger target, 50rds at 7yds. The low shots were the first ones. The rest were after I made my self slow down and focus

Model 57 target, 12 rds at 7yds. My first go 'round with the .41 Magnum and I can certainly see the attraction

Let's see who else has been burning powder recently!

Took my new Les Baer Custom Carry Blue 5" 9mm to the range for it's first outing. Started out shooting 300 rounds of Blazer 115gr. FMJs. Then loaded 50 rounds of Federal 124gr. FMJs. I had zero FTF or any other type of failure. I did take some time and shot a decent 18 round group with the Blazer 115gr. FMJs. I have another 50 rounds of the Federal 124gr, FMJs and 100 rounds of Federal 147gr HST JHPs to run through it on my next trip. The three dot sights were easy to see with or without my prescription glasses. It was smooth as silk from the first shot to the last. I kept it well lubed with Shooter's Choice FP-10 lubricant. I expected nothing less from my second new Les Baer and was not disappointed.
UPDATE
Revisited the range today. Finished up the break in. Shot 150 rounds consisting of 50 rounds of Federal 124gr. FMJ and 100 rounds of Federal 147 gr. HST JHP. Forgot to shoot a target group for the 124 gr, but did shoot a nice group with the 147 gr. Again today there were no malfunctions of any kind. It shoots as smooth as anything I have.

Today I took my new to me S&W 63 .22lr out. I think the .22 kit guns are interesting, especially the 3 & 4" barreled models. I didn't put any rounds on paper today, I walked around and took shots at dirt clods and such that were the size of a jackrabbit or so. This gun will work great for my needs and my daughter will enjoy it in a few years.
