There was one in our EE at a similar price, not sure if it moved yet. I'd say good deal with the grips and extra mags - but the idiot scratch and mainspring housing scratch detract significantly IMHO. Its not OMG amazing buy it now kind of deal.... but I'd bid on it but probably not go up a ton for an every day shooter.

Looks like a sweet pistol though.

Considering that it comes with probably $400 worth of very nice custom grips I would say this is a good deal.

Good deal, no. Fair deal, yes.

While I'd prefer the non-blem in the MSH and the idiot mark -- the grips are not cheap and worth $300 ($150 each) at a minimum so it helps greatly. Being in a KC around $2,000 is about as good as it gets. Plus you get a bunch of magazines figure $25 each for those with shipping.

With that being said I wouldn't pay a penny higher than the $2,300

Personally (and my opinion does't matter, yours does) I don't like the old school billboard on the right part of the slide and would spend several hundred more for a newer model without the dings, if you are going to go this far. I have one, it's freakin beautiful in person, on the verge of breath taking. I'll post a picture at bottom.

This sold at $2,300 on 7/17 but it's a newer model

This sold at $2,525 with 31 bids in June

This sold at $2,375 in July

Here's one with a rail that brought $2,800

$2,595 for a new one

I'd spend the extra $200 and buy the new one.

I think someone already snagged that one. Believe me, I thought about it. But as usual, I debated with myself too long. I’m pretty good at that.
I wouldn't settle for the large billboard one then. Scrounge up a few hundred more and you can score one on GB, be patient, they are around.

I sold mine because I didn't like the Bobtail. I bought it used for $2000 and sold it a couple of years later at my LGS for $1900. A small hit but I was hot for something else at the time.
When it comes to pre-owned guns I find any extras bring little if any value. If I sell a gun that I have say, a set if Spegel grips, of a lot of extra mags, I pull them off and sell them separately.
