The SAS II VIPER is Bul Armory's vision of the perfect carry gun. Providing all of the SAS II features in a compact, lightweight, and easily concealable package that you can carry all day, every day. With a fluted match-grade barrel, lightweight aluminum frame, and front slide serrations you get the best of all worlds, without compromising on anything. The Viper comes equipped with our famous one-port compensator for better recoil management and follow-up shots and the Shield RMS-c is mounted and ready to go.

email or call us at 917-740-908 for any questions you may have.

* I own the 15-round version as a personal carry and the 19-round version for the range. I shot over 10,000 rounds with the range pistol I own and cleaned it once after 3000 rounds with no malfunctions. This pistol shot ammo from Tula to subsonic to 158 grains and everything in between and there's no difference in reliability. The type of ammo is not irrelevant when considering this pistol.

So now you know. I have to say that it's really the best 1911 I shot ever. Not to say that SVI or Nighthawk Custom are not making amazing guns. The reliability of every type of ammo is the key. In the review, he shot 100 rounds of Wolf. I run at the same speed in a 20 minutes run 1000 rounds of Tulla ammo and nothing stopped it. All that is out of the box and no need to tune or optimize anything. That's the reason it's my carry gun. I'll post later a few more of their 1911s.

I've had a Bul SAS II Tactical lightweight 9mm for a few years now and really like it. I have a bunch of WC, NH, GI etc.. and it shoots as well or better than they do. Not as pretty perhaps but it is my "car gun" because I can shoot it as well as anything I own. It eats any ammo and has a great trigger. I have a few MBX mags for it and they run flawlessly as well.

I susually find TFBTv to relatively entertaining. Usually most of the youtubers are just for entertainment purposes. All that being said, a new gun is not in the budget right now but I am very interested in Bul. I held one at a LGS when I was looking for my DW. I had never heard of Bul before but after fondling one I was immediately intrigued.

Interesting piece.....

Please explain the pic below.

Is this just a 3.25” barrel with no comp? Can it be ordered that way? Does it bark at all without the comp?

Is grip length with the 15 rd mag basically the same a standard 1911 Govt/Cmdr, making it basically a Cmdr with an Officer barrel (more or less depending on maker)?

What about thickness, got specs?

Also guessing this is showing the shorter beavertail and a bobbed hammer of a CC package?

Can it be ordered with a standard hammer, short beavertail, minus comp?

Inquiring minds want to know. :)

I'm not sure about STI. If STI you mean MBX mags, so yes, it does work. I have one MBX I'm using. I'll be happy to answer more questions and give you all the information you need over the phone if you'd like. My number is 917-740-9080. You can call me or send me your number and I'll call you at your convenience. I did have an STI, it shoots better and the key part, it shoots any ammo and it's super reliable. It's a race gun made to carry.

I don't want to crap on this "for sale" thread". But no. 4 would not cover it. I was carrying a Glock in 1994 when the mag ban hit the US. I had 4 carry mags and 10 training mags at the time. 10 years later, those mags were getting pretty beat up and replacements were 80 bucks. So any carry gun I have now, I have 20 mags for minimum. It just gets added to the budget. I suspect folks in their 40s who lived through the last AWB have similar mind sets.

If you are distributing these, I suggest you plan for a lot more than 4 mags per gun from US consumers. When the AWB expired, Glock forecast that each buyer would buy an additional 4 mags, as the average European has 4 mags per gun. They got blown out of the water and literally thought there was something going on with the mags in the US market. We were just being American consumers.

I would agree on the more comfortable part that it may have to do with the grip. When it comes to accuracy, the bigger grip helps to control the gun but there's no comparison between the Colt and the Bul on accuracy. The Bul is far superior when it comes to accuracy and reliability. That's from experience and having Colt and Bul.

Lets say you have a function or reliability issue or something falls of the gun. Who services the gun, where is it sent? Is there and domestic/stateside service?

Sorry,

I think I missed this question. Bul Armory has a location in FL and it's Bul USA. All firearms and parts are going there and we get them from them, not directly from Israel. They have a center that takes care of everything in the U.S.

Hi that was meant to say "no, 4 mags won't cover it". To be clear, I don't think life revolves around Glock mags. Totally agree with your characterization of Glocks. My point, poorly made, is that for defensive guns, I hoard magazines. That means I have 100's of Glock mags, dozens of CZ and Beretta Mags, hi power mags... I am up to 25 STI mags and counting. I think you pistol looks great. It looked like it and a 2011 had a common ancestor, so I was hoping I could get one of these and not have to spend 1500 bucks on magazines. If it took STI mags, I would not have to.

I wish you good luck on this. Looks like a hell of a pistol. I'll leave you to it! Be well.
