Anyone have any experience or thoughts on the Devil Dog Arms 1911 in 10mm. I'm looking at the 5" tactical version in particular - DDA 1911 DDA-500R-BO10 – Devil Dog Arms.
They look good but not a lot out there on them. How do they hold up over time?
Any thoughts appreciated.

First up the 10mm TRP. MAN WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I fit the EGW flat FPS and all was confirmed that Springfield had either by accident, cost cut, or laziness put the wrong style FPS from the factory. Recoil pulse is now completely controllable and fast and easy to shoot. As such accuracy...
I was interested in knowing how practical a commander in 10mm would be. Would the velocity reduction from barrel length make it worth it? Would it beat the pistol to pieces? And what would be the general consensuses to the potential difficulty's of the platform.
I have a 10mm Kimber that I am thinking about setting up to also use 9mm. Simply fitting a 9mm top end to the frame should do the trick shouldn't it? Looks like I can get a whole 9mm RIA slide assembly off ebay cheap

Help me with my hunt.

Greetings fellow addicts!
Having just moved to Alaska from the lower 48, the bears are snickering at my 9mm 1911s and have forced me to look at bigger calibers for carry out in the sticks. I am looking at going 10mm in 1911 and would like to find out my options for Series 70 (I will never be...
