Guys- I am interested in the DW TCP 9mm, but I am left handed. Any thoughts / opinions on how big a deal it would be to put an ambi safety on one?? Possible / not possible? Possible, but a royal pain in the butt? Not different than any other 1911?

Sorry for another dumb question everyone, but Does anybody know where I can get a good ambidextrous safety for my 1911? I just need a low profile safety (the ones which're just those smooth stubs) because the safety on it now is too large and it has sharp edges which graze my holster and my hand...
I don't like the ergonomics of the one that came with my 1911 so I'm thinking about replacing it. Its currently an ambi safety with a wide profile, and the only gun thats ever had the safety bump off while carrying, so I'm leaning to go with a standard single side safety low profile extended...
