Found 500/ box 230 ACP FMJ RN bullets in stock at Widner's. Ordered Monday and UPS shows they will be here today. That's pretty good for ground. It pays to keep an eye on your suppliers' websites they didn't last long. I'm still loading cast bullets for practice though.

For those of you that reload your own ammo, what is your preferred bullet for .45 ACP? I use Sierra, Hornady and Berrys, mostly. For range use, I've mostly been using 230 grain Berrys round nose (.452") and am pretty satisfied with it. I also use 230 grain XTP Hornady bullets to see how JHP...

Not so much concerned with bullet type, I realize that's use dependent. So for example, in 9 mm, I tend to prefer 124 gr. bullets, they...

This is a subject I thought I understood all to well. Fact #1 the 1911 pistol will only feed 100% with the round nose bullet. This of course is the facts as I have experienced them. Well that's true of my Colt 1911s anyway. If this were true I told myself. Then why is the universe filled...

Hello All, I have 200 rounds of 230 gr Hornady FMJ flat nose bullets for trade. I would like like to trade for comparable bullets 185 - 230 gr. My 1911s don't really seem to like flat nose bullets. So they are up for grabs. I believe these bullets have been discontinued. But, they are...

Hi Guys and Gals, Anybody ever here of these guys? At a recent match in the Boise area I was talking to a buddy about reloading. We both reload all our ammo, except for SD ammo. While I have been a fan of X-Treme Bullets for some time, I have tried several others and always come back to...
