Been looking at replacement sights for my wife's Staccato C. She really likes a 2 dot rear sight. It would seem that is something that's pretty hard to find for the Novak cut STI.
I ended up ordering a set of Tritium sights from Dawson Precision.
Anyone have these?
Any other sights out there...
I currently have the SR1911 with only basic front and rear sights, adjustable only with punch.
I saw an SR at a weak gunshow with fully adjustable sights.
Was that an option from Ruger that I should have asked for?
How do I know which sights will fit my gun?
Here is a set of adjustable Dawson LPA cut fiber optic rear sights I bought for my Springfield Range Officer. Once I mounted it I decided to go a different route. There are no marks on them, other than the bottom where I filed to fit the dovetail.
I paid $100 for them. I think $75 including...
I completed a review of each and their usefulness in varying situations.

Went to press check my trusty PM38 yesterday and noticed the front fiber sight was missing (except for a little stub)
About 1500 rounds down the pipe, just finished a range day with about 500 rounds fired, I assume that's when she broke. I don't baby the gun, but it's never been dropped or used...
I'm a huge fan of fiber optic fronts and rear ghost rings on rifle sights: for close range work, nothing gives you a faster acquisition this side of a mini-red dot.
But I was sorely disappointed when trying a FO-equipped handgun in an indoor range: the ambient light was not enough to brighten...
