The prices are truly staggering of some recent auction prices If you intention is to have a great gunsmith go through it and spend another $5-8,000 on gunsmithing, wow, just wow

Lightweights (38 Super) bring ridiculous amounts of money. I have a 9MM mid-70's Colt Commander with KBG that I paid around $900 and it wasn't mint but it was good enough to be considered a nice base gun and even those bring low-to-mid teens for builder grade and $2,000 for pristine examples...

Here are two guns that I was following on GB and the hammer dropped at jaw-dropping numbers. The Kimber is unexplainable as the front strap is not checkered and the magwell fit is horrific. I was hoping maybe I could get it around $1,000 or $1,200 for a neat base gun :rolleyes...

I was accustomed to seeing +3% on CC purchases on some GB listings but today I saw some 4% and even a 5%. What is wrong with people? To me CC fees are a cost of business to be absorbed by the seller and if you are really set on recuperating it mark the price up 3%. Ok, off my rant

I placed a bid on Gunbroker for a 1911 pistol. It was a penny auction with no reserve. I put in a low but realistic max bid (I didn't want the pistol that bad). For a long while I was winning the auction. Then, on the last day, someone else came in and incrementally bumped up their bid until it...

Considering all the threads on FFL's shutting down, people not wanting to ship or receive or even states closing all non-essential businesses. I'm surprised so many guns have competitive bidding and selling for more than what I would pay and I'm not talking about home defense shotguns, Glocks...

I was surprised to see where the price went. I'm pretty ignorant about 9x23, but I was watching this auction out of curiosity. https://www.gunbroker.com/Item/830105574

This Premier II-looking pistol on GB looks like it is either going to end with no bids or sell to someone for a price that seems pretty decent to me. It's at $1299.99+50 shipping+CC fees. Not mine. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/813450318
