I have a Ithaca 1911 which I am trying to get more information about. I understand that Springfield provided Ithaca 6,000 Colt frames in (mostly) unfinished state of manufacture to aid in Ithaca getting into production. The key word being (mostly). Were complete Colt frames provided to Ithaca...

Good evening. New here, not sure if this is the correct forum. My grandfather was a Captain during WWII in Europe, he fought in the Battle of the Bulge and earned a medal there. Eventually he fought in the Korean War and was a Lt Col before retiring and being a military policeman on an Air Force...

I ran across this killing time last week going to visit FBF last weekend. I have done some research, looked on shotgun forums and such, and am torn on this gun. I have been wanting an O/U shotgun for years, and of course, they make them cheap, and there is the 'cry once' theory. So, what do...

I couldn't pass this one up. It's clean on the outside, and even cleaner on the inside. Slight high edge wear and very light browning on the grip strap are the detractors. Internally, parts show almost no finish wear, including barrel bed and locking lugs.

Typical uninformed new guy question: Which would you prefer and why? An Ithaca ProFit (price range 1300 to 1600??) or a Dan Wesson in the same price range? Will

Hey guys, I just wanted to say hello, and thank you for the wealth of information on this forum. I am not new to guns, but I did just pick up my first 1911. I purchased the Ithaca, that Brian (bac1023) had for sale. It is everything he said it was, and more. He was fantastic to work with...

I need to sell an Ithaca M1911A1 for my late fathers estate and I am pretty handgun ignorant. It is marked "M 1911 A1 US Army". It has these markings: "P" on top of the slide, "P" between the trigger and the handle, "FJA" between the trigger and the handle, "C" on the other side of the gun on...
