Selling my Les Baer UTC .45 with no front cocking serrations. Pistol is unfired and requires two hands to break open. This one is nice and tight and very well made. I’ve updated it to full size grips (challis bushings and Wilson screws) along with WoodCaliber Macassar Ebony grips. I am the...
Well I finally made it to the range today to break in the boss I shot a total of 560 rounds mostly PMC bronze some Winchester white box and a box of liberty civil defense rounds and it performed awesome I did have 1 failure to feed at around 250 ish rounds but that was it the thing is Super...
I have had this one for several years now and it doesn't hit the range nearly as often as my other commanders so I want to find it a new home. I purchased this used and do not know actual round count, I have run a few hundred rounds of mixed ammo thru it with no hiccups. You can rack it by hand...
I decided I wanted a Les Baer. I’ve never owned one and seeing several posts lately I decided it was time to get one. I waited a little too long to decide and missed out on the Police Trade In’s a while back at $1549 and at $1699.
That set me in in search of a deal. Believe it or not I found...
About a couple months ago, I bought a PD trade-in Les Baer UTC. The gun seems to have quite a bit of holster and finish wear but doesn’t seem to be shot too much typical of many PD guns. I wanted to get the clean new (ish) look back and emailed LB about their bluefin service. They replied back...
What are your thoughts between the 2. I was looking at a Dan Wesson Valor with the duty finish that is pretty sweet. Hearing some negative comments about Les Baer like not accepting WC magazines and crappy customer service. Thoughts?
Would like some input from the guys who have or had both guns. I am trying to decide which gun I should buy. I see another member has a Les Baer listed on here( I have sent him a private message ) or a Wilson combat sfx9. I do not know much about either gun. I know it’s not apples to apples, I...
So my LGS has a Les Baer Stainless commander. No frills, bells, or whistles, just a nice, clean, tight feeling 1911 commander. I think he's got $1,400 on it. That feels like a smoking price on it... Note - NOT a Hillsdale build.
I've been focused on Ed Brown and Dan Wesson... is this a bargain...
Little chilly in Toledo 31 degrees, but a good day.
100 rds with Concept VIII the 200 grain HPs were nice an accurate
50 rds each threw both Custom Carry 45 & 9
And for extra fun put a few down range with the FX9, it is a blast!
Concept IV in 45 ACP.
200 rounds. Expect appropriate wear.
Upgraded Trijicon night sights with orange front dot.
Mind bogglingly accurate.
Generally very clean, but not museum grade, smith who installed the sights nicked the left flange on the front sight, no...
Les Baer seems to be an odd bird amongst this group. I understand the points of both the fans and the detractors.
My question is merely, which caliber is generally more desirable?
Baer seems to charge a substantial premium for the 9mm builds.
I found a well loved les bear custom carry (I think) at the the LGS. Unfortunately, I did not get any photos, however most of the wear seems aesthetic. Everything still fits tightly. The coated barrel does have some smiles on it, but that expected from a shooter.
It has slim grips with...
Have 45 and 9 Custom Carry both gov size. Thought I would give the Comanche SS a shot.
Called CJ it’s on the way.
Since getting the first LB couple months back, bunch of plastic shooters finding it hard to get in the range bag.
I have a Les baer Premier 2 with monolith heavyweight frame with the 1.5” grouping guarantee.
only 850 rounds fired and runs flawless
I am curious if anyone knows the value?
I paid $3500 brand new earlier this year.
I purchased extras and upgrades plus a
Vaultek lifepod 2.0
First post toward the purchase of my first 1911:
My search for my first 1911 brought me to this forum. I have tried to do all my homework, reading lots of previous posts to avoid boring everyone with the same old requests, but here is the story in a nutshell.
I am seeking a more traditional...
I have been looking over all the sites to order my first semi custom.
Budget wasn’t really an issue and there are probably prettier finishes but I really liked the options on this one
and it ships now, not terribly patient when it comes to new a toy.
So, based on what John said it should be...
