Question for the smiths out there, who makes the best replacement slide for a 5" 9mm gun? Do they sell / ship it proud? Looking for one for a Springer 9mm Project as I suspect replacing the slide besides yielding a better gun in the end will be cheaper than trying to have the giant billboards...

I have a chance to pick up a Springfield Custom Professional in 9mm for $2000. So guys how do they compare to Wilson, Nighthawk, Ed Brown? Any info would be gratefully appreciated.
