A short story,
So after more years than I care to recall of looking through the ad’s on my local gun boards, texasguntrader.com and never finding deal to be had because here in the Texas market for some reason most folks believe their used guns are worth MSRP +20%. Must be something unique to...
Is the cost of a Wilson Combat or Ed Brown worth it over a Dan wesson specialist Im looking at? I really only have time to shoot 5 to 7 times a year. Trying to reason the price difference in my mind. Or the fourth option I could go with a Les Baer PII.
Saw a Smith and Wesson Model 22, Model of 1917 locally and I could not pass it up. Gorgeous magna grips thanks to @Karl Beining, an Oklahoma City-marked Tyler T-grip adapter, and I've got a Barranti Leather Summer Comfort IWB holster on the way :) It's gonna be fun trying to carry this!

Nice S&W model 57 no dash with 4" barrel, pre-lock 41 magnum. There are a couple blemishes mainly on the trigger guard, which I tried to capture in the photos. Overall the bluing looks very good to me. Trigger is excellent. The grips are not original and have a chip. No box with this one sorry...
I'm sending my Wessons back to the factory for ambi safeties. I've been in contact with customer service. A question for all you Wesson pros. Is there any other thing else I should have done while they are there ?
