I rode my Harley through Death Valley a few years ago. Left there at about 100 degrees and stopped for the night at 10,000 feet on top of Mammoth!!! Freezing my ass off. Lol. The Valley was gorgeous. I like the desert. I was stationed in Marine Corps Base 29 Palms for a year. Loved it out there. The downside was I was assigned to Search & Rescue. We’d pull folks out of the desert that lost their way. Pulled out several that died from exposure. The two teenaged kids on dirt bikes was the worse. Anyway.

    Thanks Spokes!
I just got it. Had to special order from an FFL in Virginia.
With this covid crap I haven't been able to get the Range with it.!
PLUS, I had cataract surgery on both eyes on 30Sept and 13Oct. so I still have three weeks before the Doc says I can shoot.
If you like Henrys... Check these... Henry-BigBoy-357.jpg Henry-Trump Comm..jpg Henry-SideLoader-Cropped.jpg

I was in Lodi a couple weeks ago picking up something for my wife, and thought I'd check out your local gun stores.
Welp... The two I found had signs stating; "CLOSED SATURDAYS IN SEPTEMBER!" WTF???
Is there one store that has more WWll long guns, and older firearms?

I shop elsewhere for firearm needs. Guns I buy out of state, get sent to a ffl friend who is also a locksmith. He uses his shop as a storefront, but doesn't actually sell guns.

The other gun stores don't impress me much. They sell popular stuff, which usually is not popular with me. Lol
I have better luck here finding what I'm looking for.

Man, Richard those are nice. I bought my son a Henry in .22, the year he was born. I need to get myself one. I especially like the Trump 2020 you have.

    Dang...!
    I didn't post this 1911 with my introduction!! Maybe because it's a 9mm... LOL!
I've done very well in some local competitions with this piece. Action is butter smooth. Recoil is of course nothing like its .45 counterpart. And I love the grips that my wife found for her Springfield-1911-Loaded-9mm-NoSerail.jpg !!

The Trump Henry was damn pricey but worth it. It's my grandson that will see the benefit of selling it it. Or maybe his son. It should be worth some good $$ years down the road!!!
The "Side Loader" I was told it was the first one in No. California.
    That one is a 30-30.
The Big Boy is a .357 and fun as hell to shoot!
I bought both my Grandsons a Henry .22 on their 14th birthday. I had them both engraved by the Henry factory. CPB-PersonalizedHenry.jpg JAM-Henry-Engraved.jpg

A .357 is one I'll be adding, to go with the revolver I recently picked up. Your grandsons will love those!
