I want to get some 10-8 Sights with the Brass Bead front sight.

I am going to be putting these on my Kimber Warrior. Which rear sight do I need? I see they have Kimber Ones & Standard Low Mount RS

Which ones would I need? I'm guessing the Kimber ones  What size do most people go with ? .156" or .140"

Then which corresponding front sight size? I'm gonna run the Brass Bead

    Thanks in advance guys....:thumb:

C.B. Your post tells me you are a candidate for the .140 rear sight opening. You will have extremely quick sight acquisition. You won't be shooting bullseye competition but let's face it, not everyone is cut out for that crap.

That is the exact setup I am using now. I had Alex build my new Model 3 Bobtail (.50 GI) with a .140 U-Notch 10-8 Rear and Novak Gold Bead front....it is a very quick sight system for picking up the front sight.

I have a .140 rear/gold bead front on my Delta, and a .140 rear/tritium front on my Baer TRS. I think the .140 is a good do all size.

I post this pic whenever this subject comes up. You can get an idea what the set up looks like.
10-8 .140 rear - Novak gold bead front. Go with a gold bead, it doesn't tarnish.

SDM's are a fraction of the price of the Novak's, are they near the same quality?

edit: SDM is what Harrison uses, so it must be good. Also, I placed an order last night, and it shipped this morning. That is what I call good service. Now I just need to buy the pistol to put it on!!

I find the .156" has too much room for the front sight to move around.

Nice photo, thanks. I've thought about getting a gold bead, but I have a hard time talking myself out of a tritium dot.

Your welcome. I'm going to put a 10-8 rear on my S&W sc bobtail and leave the tritium front sight to see how I like it.
