Just a thought you guys with some knowledge of different modification of 1911s, it would be neat to see a list that ranked some of the modifications from easiest to difficult. Just a thought for people who want to start working on 1911s, it would be easier for them to find something they are comfortable trying.

Changing parts, in my opinion, from least to most difficult

    . Grips (existing bushings)
    . Guide rod & plug
    . Magazine catch
    . Main-Spring Housing
    . Grip screw bushings
    . Sights (existing dovetails)
. Grip Safety (existing frame tangs)
    . Trigger
    . Thumb Safety
    . Over-sized firing pin stop
    . Barrel bushing
    . Hammer/sear/dis-connector
    . Barrel (not drop in)
. Grip safety (cutting frame tangs)
    . Sights (cutting dovetails)
    . Checkering front strap

That pretty much covers it........Or a ranking of most beneficial? I think I would have to rank a trigger job as number one. . Hammer/sear/dis-connector.
