Safariland 7378 series holster

 

Three words----Kramer MSP Paddle... I have quite a few of them.

 

I’ve got a Galco paddle holster the same uses.

 

Thanks for suggestions, just went with Blackhawk Serpa CQC. I had one before, for one of the Glocks I owned, worked great was comfortable as hell. Wanted to try something different, but snagged a brand new one off ebay for $22shipped.

 

I used a Serpa for my duty G22 for years and loved it. According to the mall ninjas though, the Serpas are a death sentence.

 

If you are looking for a range holster, there are lots of options. If you want to conceal the gun, it is a much narrower list.

 

I looked at it on E-Bay.
I wondered how a leather Paddle could be so inexpensieve.

I C it's plastic.

I like the feel & fit of leather holster, but then again I like Wood & steel Guns.

How does the pistols finish wear, with Plastic holsters compared to leather?

Safariland ALS or the Bianchi model 82. I don't particularly care for the Serpa-style index finger release, but to each his own. I own (and wear) both of the holsters above. The release on the ALS is slightly easier to work, but the Bianchi holds MUCH more closely to the body and conceals much more cleanly.

The Safariland paddle system is really secure if you can handle a plastic holster.

 

I've got a Bianchi 59 for my 1911, its not bad for the price.

 

I suppose that the paddle may be either inside or outside you pants but still over you belt.

I have observed and found that having the paddle inside your pants and over a secure, rather stiff belt works best. I have several from different manufacturers and they all work best in this manner.

The advantage of the Kramer MSP (and others probably too) is the addition of the belt loop for at least a minimal bit of retention. I’m sure most have seen the infamous Clint Smith/Thunder Ranch video with the guy using the Fobus paddle holster

 

I'm a big fan of Safariland paddle holsters too. My oldest one is over 20 years old and has held up perfectly for me.
