Welcome to the forum, your English is just fine! Nice collection.
Thanks War Party but Google translate is my friend .

I'm not a collector but I like the 1911 custom.
I was machinist (CNC and traditional) and I appreciate the work of different customizers (Ted Yost , Jason Burton , Chambers Custom "Lou", Stan Chen .... forgiveness for those I do not quote ).
You must be a authorized professional to be able to machine the pieces of weapons, it' s the French law and i' m not :(.
Regards.

I’ve got “better” 1911’s, but I’ve had a hankering for an older 70 series Colt. I found one built in 1977 on another board, made a deal, and picked it up today. The previous owner couldn’t get it to run an entire mag without a failure, so I figured it probably needed a new recoil spring. I decided to try it as is, and it fed and shot perfectly for me. I did go ahead and put a new recoil spring in, and after a 100 rounds, I like it very well.

Just got my 04091U Stainless commander back from my LGS.

Started like this:

Then I added an Ed Brown magwell, and Steve at MARS offered to high cut and golf the front strap to match (and cleaned up the magwell nicely too).

This was always kinda my beater pistol, favorite to shoot. Picked up a "match" threaded barrel, BEC rear sight, Novak Big Dot tritium front sight, Harrison controls, Wilson flat trigger, threw in my spare Wilson Concealment safety and SpecOps hammer. Challenged my local shop to go outside the box a bit, as they've never done "cosmetic" work before and opted for a CeraKote job as well. They also fit a new EGW bushing to the factory Colt barrel, and did an 11* target crown. Overall, they did a great job, there's some rookie issues, but on this pistol I'm OK with it (mainly the top serrations).

Really killer build.
I’ve always been a fan of the CS Grip Safety and Spec Ops 9 hammer combo.

This is my second pistol with that combo. It really changes the lines a bit, in a good way for me. My other two need to stay "classic" and won't have them. Was going to my standby Dlask trigger, but I opted to try the Flat. Ran a couple hundred after picking it up yesterday, kinda dig the feel.
