This is a very nice 1913 Colt US Army that found its way to me from a base in Georgia. The owner wanted a carry piece but did not want to lose the traditional US Army feel for the old war horse. I refit the slide to frame, fit a new Kart NM barrel with EGW thick flange bushing. Replaced all the internals with new high quality bar stock parts. The hammer is the original and was recut for hammer hook length and surface ground. The front strap is checkered 25 lpi with a matching main spring housing. I fit a Derr Precision conceal carry beavertail grip safety. The thumb safety is a Wilson BP. The rear sight is the Harrison Design Retro, up front is a tritium sight with white outline. Ball cuts and a magwell bevel. The finish is hot blue with figured double diamond grips. What do you think?
