Does the term Picture Perfect paint a picture? Please give us the story behind this perfect 1911.

I've owned this one for over 30 years. No real story for me to tell. It appeared one day in the display case of my LGS. It was a matter of being at the right place at the right time with the available funds in hand. It also came with another original 2 tone loop magazine, the box brochure and the tattered remnants of the original box. It's an easy 98% pistol.
Absolutely gorgeous 1911. This is just what I prefer, the historical purity of the 1911!
