These serrations are usually cut at very close to 20 lpi and also usually cut thinner than 20 lpi checkering. Provided the front strap is thick enough this can be set up on a machine checkering fixture and a full 20 lpi checkering job can be done.. It's just a matter of starting in one of the lines and properly setting the spacing and going deep enough to point up.. Again provided the front strap is thick enough usually don't need to go more than another .005-.007 deeper than the existing serrations provided they are close to the 20lpi currently.
