I must admit, I bought this about a year and a half ago, with the intent of rebuilding it. . . It clearly does not need rebuilt, but my vision was to use all of the best parts from Wilson today, to build this gun to today's standards of aesthetics and add checkering, straighten the lines, etc. Obviously that project never got past the idea/order the parts phase, and here it sits. Need a home to love it and enjoy as Bill intended.

"Accucomp LE,Bill was developing his trademark Wilson Accu-Comp pistol through the experience he gained on the firing line. Beginning with the Accu-Comp "C" in .45 ACP, the guns wearing the emblem "Wilson Combat" began an evolutionary process that still continues today. Along the way came the single most imitated pistol ever seen in practical shooting, the Accu-Comp "LE." Named for the Arizona duo of Rob Leatham and Brian Enos, the LE model was (and still is for that matter) considered the state-of-the-art compensated combat auto of the single-port expansion chamber style. Bill would go on to popularize the dual-port compensator, but his large scalloped port of the LE set the pace in compensator technology from 1983 until the introduction of the dual-port in 1989."

The Above description is thanks to one of my favorite gun snobs, and Wilson Aficionado

This gun is nice, super nice when you look how clapped out most Competition pieces from the late 80's ended up. No holes for optics, no rebuilds, just how she left Berryville over 30 years ago.

    $2,000 Shipped OBO

Didn’t you sell another one of these at beginning of the year?

I did, it was not a 2 tone, and sold within a day. Perhaps you need this one!
