So here's the deal...came into a bit of $$$ and my anniversary is next month. The wife says since it is a special one (25th) I can buy whatever I want with some of it. I am wanting to spend $3500 or less so I can use the rest for future wants. My question is this...What would YOU use it for? Bear in mind, it does not actually have to be a gun or gun related, just what would you buy yourself. An explaination of your decision would be nice also. Thanks.

I would probably pour it into a Daniel Defense Rifle and Trijicon setup with the rest going to ammo.

I'd spend it on 2 guns. Or art for my house. I'm 42 and have mostly bare walls, except for some floral prints my ex left behind. It's crossed my mind to take my gun savings and just paint the place and hang up new stuff. I know I'd be glad I did, but either an SPR or a GI NN would also make me very happy.

Well then...Tahiti comes to mind. And from what I hear it is pretty nice this time of year...especially with as cold as it has been here the last few days.

So far, the suggestion I hadn't thought of is looking good. Someone suggested something like gunsite or thunder ranch. Good idea or do I just buy more guns, ammo, a nice watch/knife for those gun pics, etc...?

I hardly notice the watch or knife in a gun pic. I'd much rather have ammo -in real life and in the background of my photo, personally.

I'd buy a new 60+ inch TV with a stereo system and furniture, because I need a new TV. Fortunately the wife agrees.

I'd put it towards a preened funeral plan. No it won't cover all of it (depending on your wishes of course) but if you take some of you other funds and pay the bill in full, the price will be locked in. Average service doubles every 10-12 years, and if you choose cremation it will rise significantly more due to the increase in this type of service.

This type of planning is more appreciated by survivors than most anything else you can do.
