Does anyone know of gunsmith who still makes the mauser 45-70 conversions? Or know of one for sale.

450 Marlin or Bushmaster will be a much more affordable and likely reliable bolt gun

I've got one I can sell. It's currently in storage, so I'd have to go get it to take some pictures. Let me know if you're interested. (I am in South Carolina.)

No doubt but they cant touch the power you can get put of a 4570 in a bolt action. I had one years ago and it was amazing. Sold it like a fool.
