It does, I wanted to try speed loaders though as I'm not a huge fan of moon clips. The speedbeez ones aren't great though, one cracked in half when I dropped it on the range floor, and their cartridge retention is weak. Unfortunately aren't many options for speed loaders for 8 shots.

5 Star makes speed loaders for 8 round S&W pistols, they're not cheap but they are well made. On the cheap moon clips work but they're a pita to load and unload. The answer is to have a lot of them!

I compete with mine, so the Moonclips are faster, but you are right, Pain in the ass the load and unload!! Plus they get bent pretty easy!

Man you must be good with that TRR8, reloading mine with moon clips or loaders takes more time than my .45 and I've considered having the cylinders chamfered my my two X8's.

When I shot my S&W .45 ACP a lot, I had the cylinders chamfered and those .45's FLY in now!

Chamfered cylinders a must for competition. Making sure reloaded ammo is loaded right also helps. I have been a USPSA shooter for a long time, just started shooting revolver:

That I total reworked.
Cut threaded muzzle off and recrowned
Re did the action work including cutting the hammer spur off
Double action only for ICORE competition
Chamfered the cylinder
Changed sights
Hogue big Butt grips
Double action is 6lbs even. Use federal primers fully seated
Revo supply extreme moon clips and Win brass, 160 gr Bayou bullets
It's a game gun for sure now

627
About same as above
Shoot 38 short Colt Starline brass out of it.
Action is slightly heavier with hammer spur still on it.
Wife's game gun and she likes the hammer spur
sometimes on longer shots she shoots it single action
627 remains DA/SA

S&W are great base guns LOL

A little different, but I grew up with 9 shot Harrington and Richardson 22's. Still love hi capacity revolvers! No jamming!

It is only a 7 shot but serves it's purpose.

Write up on my Smython Elite...
