Hello everyone, never having a 1911 platform in 9mm, I feel like they are less reliable. If I'm wrong I will be glad to be educated. In my mind a Browning Hi Power is where a 9mm should be.a1911 45 acp but as I grow older 9mm might have a place but will never replace my 45 so what are you're thoughts am I wrong

There is nothing wrong with 9mm in a 1911. NOTHING!!! The people who say that the .45 is Gods caliber are idiots plain and simple and should be banned from this site for being to stupid to live. What a simple way to describe something!
There are many reasons to shoot 9mm in the 1911 forum.
Price of ammo is one and with the constant prices raises and lowering over some mass shooting and political BS all of us can't afford to shoot "Gods caliber" as much in our favorite platform as we may like.
As we age 9mm shoots softer in our favorite platform and that is a plus once again proving the "Gods caliber" is BS as it lets us shoot more and enjoy our sport.
The 1911's 9mm today are vastly improved from just a few years ago.
So get a 1911 in 9mm if ya want one and laugh at the fools who espouse .45 only as most are not educated enough or have enough brain cells know the .380 was one of his as was the Hipower in 9mm.

Look guys the the man is very stupid or has lost it like Biden. He just rambles on about nothing. He sent me a PM asking me if I was some kind of a badass for calling him a snowflake.
