OK so I know enough to know that the answer isn't a simple YES or NO but my question is....
Can I take a 9mm barrel out of a DW Specialist and put it in a DW Guardian .38 Super? I'm not against sending it out for a proper fitment but after reading the thread @Joe C about barrel fitting it seems like production guns are made pretty loose.

    I wouldn't suggest doing that.

    Good enough for me!

Get a Kart barrel and fit it/have it fit to the .38 Super slide.
The chance of having one barrel that fits two slides is about nil.

I don't even own the .38 Super Guardian yet. I have an opportunity to buy one at a more than fair price but I'm trying to justify another purchase that I really don't need. It got me to thinking about the versatility of swapping DW barrels which would give me both caliber options in both guns. Fitting a barrel or at least trying to fit a barrel is something I would like to do but right now my new project is going to be taking a run at hot bluing some old neglected S&W revolvers. I'll post pics if they turn out good and I won't if they don't :).
