I appreciate all the input. I’m definitely getting it . Does anyone know when they start crowning the barrels. Every time I’ve had a 1911 I’ve carried in a VM2 but I’ve come to love appendix carry. It will be my carry after 500 rounds or so, I’ll probably grab a bunch of WC mags, does Wilson have any extended mags for 9mm? What’s everyone’s thought on carrying a 1911 appendix style? BHSS does that SFS conversion where you can carry hammer down safety on but when u swipe it to fire the hammer moves to SA, which they do on BHP& 1911’s. I at consider that. Anyone have that done on there 1911?

@x95mk220 , yes, Wilson does have 10 round 9mm mags, I have one and it's been great so far. I also have a Tripp Cobra 10 round that's been great. As with any new mag of course, try them for a while before carrying, if that's your plan.

As many have stated, the DW's in general are excellent and reliable! The V-Bobs are definitely sought after on this forum.

As for @Dwe , your first SS V-Bob may be the one sitting in my very UNCROWDED safe! 1 of only 3 1911's that I currently have left. I can tell she was carried, but well loved.

My 9mm Valkyrie has been 100% reliable so far, Only a few hundred rounds thru it. As for a tight chamber, not the case with mine, shoots everything. Tightest 9MM I have is a Glock believe it or not. Shield EZ is also tight. Love the DW.

I came sooo close to getting a Valkyrie in .45 but I went with the “Black Duty Kote” (my favorite metal adhesive treatment though I also love the look of case hardening and straight up an old school blueing that is done the right way! I’ll keep ya posted on what comes out of this transaction. Thanks everyone for the great stories & comments. I forgot who I sold my black DW VBOB in .45acp 🤔

Boom! Mic 🎤 Drop!

45 FMJ rounds 10 HP rounds. Not a hiccup; just 1 failure to lock back but I ride my thumb high which was my fault after adjusting perfect. 15 yards. Used 3 mags, 2 DW & 1 WC. Thanks for all the comments.
