Not as accommodating as a 1911, but might be just fine as they are not as thick as some double stack magazine guns. How are these for smaller hands? I really like the look of them.
With proper grips they are about the best double stack for smaller hands. I usually run thin grips from any of the better providers and do some additional contouring of the grips, backstrap and trigger gaurd root. How are these for smaller hands? I really like the look of them.
If you don't already watch/inquire...a great video series/reviews on most guns(both handguns and long guns) can be found on You Tube with Hickok 45. He does a nice review of Hi Powers and mentions how they feel compared to some other handguns. A Browning Hi Power is certainly one of the finest production handguns ever. There are several variations of the base gun. To me, they are as attractive in the basic blue/wood grips as a 1911 and have a very classic look and feel. Prices are increasing as they are no longer made by Browning Arms. However, many were made and they are pretty plentiful on the used market. There are several members here on Addicts that collect them and are subject matter experts on them(not me). Glad you joined us. DocThank you!
I'll look at them at next gunshow
If you have any questions, I've been through many, carried one since the 90s and always done my own work on them. In all actuality, they really don't need much imoThank you!
