SN 090 for the record, cool to see such a low one out in the wild.
My aging eyes! Good spot, and thank you for the correction! I've updated the thread title accordingly.SN 090 for the record, cool to see such a low one out in the wild.
It goes without saying; just call the seller directly. With their fees, GunBroker can eat a bag of dicks.
Tis a good call, for sure.Might better check them sales out. They haven’t had a review in 12 months. I’d be a little worried myself.
No hate here just try to watch out for the thieves. Why do you guys hate GB, are they suppose to work for free 🤔 they have millions of postings, servers to maintain and you don't think they are entitled to a free to turn a profit.
Silly...
Good looks. No hate here just try to watch out for the thieves.
That's why you call the dealer who has the ad on gunbroker, and make the deal outside of it with no fees. Has worked for meWith their fees, GunBroker can eat a bag of Dicks.
I don't hate GB. They are required by state laws to collect sales tax. They do incur a cost in doing so. I get it.Why do you guys hate GB, are they suppose to work for freethey have millions of postings, servers to maintain and you don't think they are entitled to a free to turn a profit.

Thats not how sales tax works....not even close. It is the sellers responsibility to collect it and submit it first of all. Secondly it depends on the sales tax rate where you are, that rate is a percentage of the purchase price. Adding $5 to each sale isnt gonna cut it.I don't hate GB. I do wish they would just add a fixed surcharge instead of a percentage one.
Paying them $20 or more to collect and remitt the sales tax is silly.
Just add $5 or so to each sale.

I was referring to the 1% surcharge GB adds to cover collection and remittance of the sales tax, not the actual sales tax.Thats not how sales tax works....not even close. If you want to be upset, be upset with the feds and the states that pushed this through. Its not like GB just suddenly decided to do it. Sales tax is charged on ALL internet sales to the folks in the states that have joined this movement.
