Excuse my drool on the blued surface.
Semi Hard fit has a nice snick to retract the slide. Once past the snick, slide travel is smoooooooooth.
I requested a 5 lbs trigger press and its amazingly different feeling press than my others. I like it.
The black checkered grips are sharp. very grippy.
I want to go shoot it but efffN work is in my way.
I have been saving some 230 ball for "break in" (HA!) but hopefully Friday afternoon, I will sneak out to the range.

I have about 300 in it. Rain and work have gotten in my way for anymore rounds.
Other than the thumb safety digging into my thumb (web area)... its doing just fine!

my favorite 1911 grips are black or blackish browns.
I have something cool ordered! I will just leave it at that.
I need some type of checkering or texture for better grip as I am a shooter.
I ordered some WoodCaliber Holly in smooth and while they look good.... I do not prefer the smoothness for shooting. I sent them back and he textured them for $25. They are much better.
I look fwd to the grips that I ordered.
