One cool thing about living in a second home several states away from "home 1" is that when I get an opportunity to return for whatever reason, there are more often than not, goodies waiting for me at my buddy's gun shop.
Case in point, today: along with my new CZ Scorpion and a Staccato-P, was this 38Super goodness...

Thnx J. These grips came with the gun, so they made a good choice. All I asked for was smooth, no checkering.
So, I did a full strip and assemble last night just being curious and excited. This thing is completely tight - there are no tolerances. Everything is so precise, the slide stop has to be perfectly aligned otherwise it just isn't going in. The barrel bushing can only be turned with a wrench. This thing is built like my GMT Master.
I can't wait to wear off some of this amazing blueing in my holster...

How about a picture of your GMT Master, I use to have one. I never thought I would stop being a watch guy but I haven't worn one in years and sold them all except for my Omega Planet Ocean and the first watch I ever bought a T/T DJ I bought in 1994.
