Well then I just ordered its twin from the wichita gun club and their next unspoken for hi cap.

It appears that ordering directly from ACW isn't the best way to go.Well then I just ordered its twin from the wichita gun club and their next unspoken for hi cap.
I think the dealers order intermittently so they always have guns near completion. Some builders will modify the exact specs for the dealers end customer before buildout. I’ve never gone through a dealer yet but you definitely save wait time if they already have what you want in the builders queue. @TheWichitaGunClub was great to work with last month, picked up a Staccato from them. I will buy from Jess again. It appears that ordering directly from ACW isn't the best way to go.
Their dealers probably get priority.

They have a lot of nice stuff, and very accommodatingI need to visit their shop, It's only about a 95 mile drive.
Personally, the anticipatory wait is all part of the fun!It appears that ordering directly from ACW isn't the best way to go.

Ha, I'm having a lot of doubts about it now, it's going to be difficult to send off the $3,000 balance.Personally, the anticipatory wait is all part of the fun!
I questioned the same thing too as time was drawing near. Mainly because I’ve never spent that much on hardly anything. However, I can tell you 100% I think it’s worth it. I don’t have much experience with 1911s to go off of, but I will say mine is the best looking gun I’ve ever seen in person. Of course I may be biased, but I’ve held a few Wilson’s and Nighthawks and they didn’t compare to the ACW. If you don’t mind me asking, what did you order?Ha, I'm having a lot of doubts about it now, it's going to be difficult to send off the $3,000 balance.
I would cancel the order if I could get my deposit back.
A Quantico in .45 ACP. It would be nice if I could sell my "Slot" to someone else.I questioned the same thing too as time was drawing near. It will probably shake out just fine for you. The three friends who have shot mine all said it is the finest handgun they’ve ever shot. It also has become my hands down favorite handgun and has squashed interest in guns I used to shoot frequently. In fact, the only gun I’m interested in pursuing now is an ACW in .38 Super.Ha, I'm having a lot of doubts about it now, it's going to be difficult to send off the $3,000 balance.

A little buyers remorse is normal for some people, but really, buy once cry once. You're gonna be pretty happy, and in a year when you're friends are all asking to shoot your gun because it's so nice you'll have forgotten about the price. That, plus if you're not happy with it, you can always get most if not all your $ back by re-selling here, but you will be. ACW's really do shine once you have one in your hand.Ha, I'm having a lot of doubts about it now, it's going to be difficult to send off the $3,000 balance.

Not buyers remorse, just big doubts that it will actualyl be worth the wait and the coin. I have aA little buyers remorse is normal for some people, but really, buy once cry once. I’ve held a few Specialists, but never shot one. But to me, I’d definitely say the ACW blows the Specialist away by just the way it feels in hand and the finish. Did you get the ACW in DLC or blued? Not buyers remorse, just big doubts that it will actualyl be worth the wait and the coin. I have a
Dan Wesson Specialist that is superb, so I doubt the Quantico will be worth $2,000 more than it.
I also have a Wilson Combat eXperior DS that I think is nice, but not worth the $3,100 price tag.
Unfortunately Blued. I prefer DLC, but an extra $500 for it is just ridiculous IMO.I’ve held a few Specialists, but never shot one. But to me, I’d definitely say the ACW blows the Specialist away by just the way it feels in hand and the finish. Did you get the ACW in DLC or blued?
I’m a complete beginner with 1911s so my opinion probably doesn’t count for much, but I would honestly stick with it and give it a shot. It might change your mind when you have it in hand. I felt very underwhelmed by an EDCX9 and a Nighthawk TRS commander at the local gun store, but was thrilled with my ACW. If I had the money, I’d try to work something out with you and ACW, but I unfortunately have to recoup some funds over the next several months.Unfortunately Blued. I prefer DLC, but an extra $500 for it is just ridiculous IMO.
Nighthawk charges around $650 for a redo on DLC. its why I ordered my ACW blued too and may never have the french border cut...no one wants to blue a pistol these days.Unfortunately Blued. I prefer DLC, but an extra $500 for it is just ridiculous IMO.
For what it's worth, I also have a Specialist (which is a great gun), and though I don't have a Quantico, my Prime Elite is every bit twice the gun and then some as the DW. I am a fanboi though, I have 5 of them. Kinda thinking about your "spot" for the Quanitico to fill the final gap, how far out are you?Not buyers remorse, just big doubts that it will actualyl be worth the wait and the coin. I have a

The only Custom/Semi Customs I haven't been disappointed are my Langdon Beretta 92G
Elite LTT Centurion and my Staccato P.
1911s are simple and there's only so much you can do to them, what exactly makes an ACW "twice the gun"as a DW Specialist? For what it's worth, I also have a Specialist (which is a great gun), and though I don't have a Quantico, my Prime Elite is every bit twice the gun and then some as the DW.
