mainspring housing is in but the walnut grips i got from highfiguregrips.com.....the bushing side of the holes were not cut deep enough, so they won't sit flush against the frame. Gotta take some material off of them before I can use them. Ivory vz for now.

I could ask which of the two you were referring to,
the CC or the Prime.
However the answer would be the same for both.
However I shoot the CC better than the Prime
due primarily to its trigger.
It is noticeable better then the Prime.
I’m hoping the prime to get better as it gets more range time.

The ACW’s build quality,and attention to detail are
easily onpar with GI and NH, however ACW lags the
others in options, finish and models they offer.

I'm planning on ordering a Prime Elite in .45 here in the next month or so. Next summer will feel forever away, but after drooling on these pics, I know it will be worth it.

You are asking the right person, that's for certain.

@Dwe has experience, up close and personal, with more top shelf 1911's than I even knew existed. I'm looking forward to reading his ongoing experiences with these ACW beauties.

I didn't figure that my camera would be up to the task, and it isn't. This is my Charcoal Blue Classic Carry from ACW. If I had to give the color a name, it would be dark grey. You ACW owners know how perfect the flats are; the rounds and the rest of the pistol have 20 additional hours of polish, and it shows. I have other pics, but I think I'll do better if I wait until the sun is shining and do them outdoors sans flash.
