It would be great to have one place to browse through ACW pictures, so please post what you have. Both pre and post Cabot guns are welcome!

My small collection of customized LB Concept 8, customized S&W PC lightweight round-tail, plus Anomaly. All commanders.

Quantico needs to return to the mothership for some modifications, mainly ball cuts and cut the dust cover straight. Maybe a fiber optic front sight and ambi safety…possibly a flat trigger, who knows. I enjoy looking at them almost as much as I enjoy shooting them
Hold it, I didn't think they would or could cut the rail frame to line up with the ball cuts?

Not on the hicaps, they won’t do any cutting on them; single stack quantico it’s I believe $150 if you contact them when ordering to cut the frame. Imo they should pair it with the ball cut section on the website. People may not love to see a $275 up charge but it is what it is.

Wonder why the difference.
This is one of the best looking ACW's I have seen and I have one just like it! The finish on the slide and the grips are just amazing.

I haven’t gotten a good explanation, just that they can’t. Rob has even mentioned how he wishes they could do that to the hicaps. It has something to do with the shape of the frame I believe, @RCSchauland may be able to help us understand.

I know the inability to do that frame cut has/had severely dampened my desire to order a hicap…until dnuggett posted his. Now I’m thinking maybe I could live with it. Maybe. But first I gotta get my single stack fixed up

Ok, last pics for now, I snagged a pair of horn back lizards and thought “we should have more cowboy boot stuff on the forum” so…here…some vintage Justin turtles. I think the go pretty well with the classic styling of the PE

Now that is badass! Very nice Sir. You should start a Cowboy boots/country/truck/whatever else thread. I’ll post.

There’s a cowboy boot thread that I dropped the boots in, if I had better pics, I’d definitely start a thread. It’s just gonna upset me though because I didn’t get a king ranch this go round and then I’m telling myself this truck won’t go anywhere…lol

Compared to y'all's trucks, I'm pretty sure I have the Ford Styrofoam Edition.

This one was sweet. Here's my final "police car."

To cut the end off flat on a Hi Cap frame, it would go all the way to the cutout for the light. The back angle is much further back on Hi Caps due to the length of the dust cover and trying to make it terminate with standard slide radius cut more closely. If that makes sense. I wish I could cut them flat. We're sort of in the process of making some changes to the double stack over the next year. Perhaps something different with the dust cover will work it's way in to the mix.
