It would be great to have one place to browse through ACW pictures, so please post what you have. Both pre and post Cabot guns are welcome!

My small collection of customized LB Concept 8, customized S&W PC lightweight round-tail, plus Anomaly. All commanders.

The older I get the more I love a blued 1911. I was always a fan of coatings. But Blue is fast becoming a favorite. I blame it on my Baer Custom Carry, that started it all for me.

lol  You will like the finish. My lame-a$$ pictures don't do it justice.
@Dwe , thanks for the edit. From what I can tell by all the photos I've been seeing they are certainly beautiful. Those Highfigure grips are stunning on yours.

Really cool pictures guys.

I see someone mention models and finishes. We're adding stuff. It's a young brand and it takes time to ramp up and add those things. As you probably know, a total of 3 new models are coming. We're adding DLC to the options list along with a coating option of some sort. I guess we're also doing some sort of SRO mount too although I haven't done one and don't know how it will work out. I'm 1000% against it but I'm only a figurehead.

I'm not a big believer in flooding a line with too many models and having redundant guns within your lineup. Baer is a big offender with that. It causes the buyer to suffer too much paralysis by analysis. I want to hit the high points and then offer options within those areas.

Glad to hear about the option about the dot Rob. Looking here on this fourth, some of our most traditionalist are moving that route. Keep up the great work. By the way Tom’s Alchemy Custom PRO 2.0 is still going strong after thousands of rounds and still my benchmark of what a well made 1911 should be.

When I first started looking at the ACW 1911s one of the biggest attractions was unlike the Baer’s, Wilson’s etc. was the fairly narrow focus of the product line. The idea of doing one thing and doing it extremely well. As originally presented the product line offered me at least 95% of anything and everything I would want in a 1911. With the exception of a few bells and whistles which I admit I like, the guns are very true to the original design.

AHHHHH HELL YEAH!!!!!! :):):):)
My first ACW, a Prime, came today and I really just can't stop admiring it! Even now as I am typing this. Fit and finish is exactly what it should be. The checkering although a finer LPI, which I normally can't notice, has a modest grip texture and is perfectly executed. I have always thought the blueing job done on Rob's pistols was one of the best out there, but all the polishing that was done for the Turnbull charcoal blueing puts this several rungs above. I opted for the parts to be done in this finish also instead of the nitre blue and their more matte look are a nice compliment to the polished look of the rest of the gun. Won't know the range details for a bit but that's OK cause I'll never be able to shoot it as good as the supplied target. Told the OL not to bother me with anything less than a possible amputation or a stroke as I needs me some bonding time.
And I know :pics: but no pics yet as it hasn't stopped raining here since yesterday morning.
