An ACW is the only 1911 I would not want a naked slide on. It's because of how it's done. Just looks nice.
Everything else though must be naked.

I’m likely in the minority, but I’m not a fan of the roll marks. I snooze, I lose!

I originally ordered the 407 less the roll marks. After several months, I called Patty to see if I could change my order as the ACW roll marks were really starting to grow on me. I’m so happy I changed my order! I think they are very classy, and glad I opted for them. ymmv.

I love the roll mark as well. Classy.

I'm usually not a fan of roll marks either.

Can't say that for most others.

Agreed, I ordered mine with the logo. ACW, and Colt are the two companies where I want the markings.

My ACW has the std roll marks/logo. Honestly never thought much about it, guess I have one or two each way.

Yes, Colt also.

I waited 8 months for my fist ACW. George gets it and I send it to Steve at IA. Not sure when I'll get it. He's doing top slide serrations and replacing the trigger. Not sure if I'll get more done or not yet. When Steve is done, it goes back to ACW for bluing again. Maybe, hopefully, I'll get it by spring.

I want some nice looking grips to go on it as well. Just haven't decided on what. Wood? Mammoth? Kennys grips above look great. Ivory grips would look nice as well. Heck, I'm worse that a female. No offense meant to any ladies reading this.

I think Bryan at WoodCaliber knocked it out of the park. The grips are Macassar Ebony with skip line checkering and a small thumb scoop.

Classy. I just ordered a set from him as well, for the new one on the way in 6 months lol. Love wood caliber grips. I chose Gaboon Ebony thanks to @WoodrowAugustus.

Nice grips. I am in the market for some exotic wood grips. Was thinking of some mammoth but changed my mind.
