The day has finally come! The Anomaly came to the range with me and I ran five different kinds of ammo through it, including a couple of mags of JHP (Gold Dots and HST), in four kinds of mags. It’s got that Alchemy feeding cycle that just feels like bullets magically align with the chamber and slide in like they were dipped in butta

Got to shoot the Anomaly mentioned above. It’s a freaking tack driver. Both ACW’s just seem to have a hatred for the bullseye.

Guess what...my ego never caught up so I'm still pretty reasonable. I am getting crabbier with each passing day though. One day, I'll be able to yell at you like Les but until that day comes, everyone is safe.

DW PM7 w/Alchemy Mods completed August 12, 2015:

Checkered Front Strap, Checkered Ed Brown MSP, Nighthawk Ambi Safety, Trigger tuned to 4#, EGW NM bushing, refinish rounds of lower/touch up flats, install Harrison Barstock SS plunger tube, polish feed ramp. Tested and shoots under 1" groups at 25 yards.

Mark Anderson, how do you like that diamond checkering? I wonder why Rob did not use that on his new Alchemy line.

I love it. Not exactly sure what the LPI is, but it's absolutely perfect for grip and shooting. I bought the PM7 in 2007 and at that time there was nothing on the front or rear. Today it is marketed as the PM-45 and looks like DW is checkering both sides, but it doesn't look anything near the quality of the diamond checkering Rob did.

I believe that it’s called Cord checkering, after the auto maker. I have a old MSH with the same type checkering with landyard loop. My buddy has the same on his 60’s ball gun but his landyard loop is not installed.

George from gunslingers is shipping this to me, the new custom carry. I live in WA, so once it arrives and I do paperwork, I still have to wait 10 business days. I can’t wait for this beauty. Btw, George has great customer service.

Here’s a Colt commander Rob did, one of the last do leave his IL shop. It was cerakoted by Dave at EVO with a new front sight.

And a hard chrome Colt is no longer in my possession but was absolutely awesome.

Just announced on Alchemy Instagram, after the first of the yr 38 Super will be produced. 38 Super Custom Carry will be a sweet ccw I think.
