It would be great to have one place to browse through ACW pictures, so please post what you have. Both pre and post Cabot guns are welcome!

My small collection of customized LB Concept 8, customized S&W PC lightweight round-tail, plus Anomaly. All commanders.

Speaking of wait time, I received notice from Shannon that my Quantico was complete. Ordered February first of this year. Tracking shows delivery on Saturday. I’m out of town hunting this weekend…however told my FFL to text me when in and I’d drive the 75 miles to get it. Hoping for a giant buck Saturday morning! That would make it easier to leave for sure.

Got here a day early. First pics. I’ll be changing grip panels and cleaning it up when I get back in town.

I prefer slot. If I need to remove them in the field I can use a 45 case.

Congrats. The ACW website shows hex head grip screws on the Quantico, not slotted like yours.
I prefer hex head, is that something I need to request? I ordered mine on 10/21

* Never mind, I will contact ACW about it.
Just ordered it standard plus orange front night sight.

Yes they are! Jon is my favorite maker by far. His checkering is as aggressive as some G10. The biggest plus is he is really a good guy!!

Hit the range today for a maiden voyage.

Ran two different Federal 230gr loads....ball & hollow point....in various magazines.

Zero trouble whatsoever.

Very smooth shooting pistola.....so smooth, in fact, that I just wanted to let it ride.

15yd target, standing w/ both paws and 54yo eyesight....screaming for corrective lenses soon.

Very nice man! Beautiful pistol. Haven’t shot my Quantico yet. Had carpal tunnel surgery done the old way almost three months ago on my right hand and it’s not ready yet. Shot a P30 in 9 two weeks ago and the recoil was a little stiff. Really looking forward to it though. My PE is my favorite 1911.

“Best wishes on the continued recovery.

I hope the cts surgery yields some excellent relief.

I'm sure you've already given the matter much thought over the months....perhaps there are some padded gloves that may help. I can't remember where....but I've seen some "recoil" gloves. Finger pads exposed for trigger feel & dexterity”

I had it done on my left side a year and a half ago. Took about 4 months and it has been an excellent result. Right one seems to be taking longer but I’ve also used it a lot more often. Surgeon is a good one. Appreciate the well wishes!
I can shoot the 45 but don’t want to develop any bad habits trying to work through the recoil discomfort. Dying to shoot it. Busy with deer hunting for a few weeks so that will keep me happy.

I really like the look of the ball cuts! When I ordered my Quantico, I asked Nick for pics. He said no one had ordered one with them yet. I went with standard. Now I’m sorry I didn’t.

Finally got a decent shot of the hard chrome… at an indoor range with subpar lighting to boot. 😂🤣
