It would be great to have one place to browse through ACW pictures, so please post what you have. Both pre and post Cabot guns are welcome!

My small collection of customized LB Concept 8, customized S&W PC lightweight round-tail, plus Anomaly. All commanders.

I think I post mine too much, but is it really ever too much? Took this one this morning. Trying to document as much of the wear as possible as it goes progresses. Really liking it and glad I went with the blued finish. View attachment 953078
Ummmm you can never post too many pictures of your guns…keep them coming 👍🏻

I really, really, really.......didn't DID need to see that pic. :p

I have been fighting off pulling the trigger on ordering a railed .45......been kicking around different possible directions....spoke with the folks at WC last week. Ruled out what I was kicking around....Wanted to pursue a Shadowhawk with IOS....but honestly the gun will retain the 🔴 24/7 so no real need.

I know the Quantico will be a choice performer, too. A year to wait vs two years is another factor.

Wanting a gun that'll gobble up a high round count over the years...and keep shooting tight groups.

For what it is worth, I ordered my Quantico Feb 4th and was told estimated ship date Aug 29th. Probably a little longer but maybe less then a year

I've had a couple conversations already with my my pusher dealer friend concerning putting in an order for a Qantico.

Plans bumped back slightly when the wants for a Prime Elite boiled over and wouldn't simmer down. Couldn't get a lid on it until I went with that one first. Doing a two-toned version. Planning on carrying it often and keeping it well fed. Placed order...paid off....just in the waiting game, now.

My top trio of railed .45's was coming down to various WC possibles, Quantico single stack or ShadowHawk.

Not much need for waiting on the Hawk with IOS....even though they absolutely nail it. The gun will don a red dot and keep it on. My only concern with ACW is simply my ignorance with their dot mount options. Which do they support....how low is their plate....ongoing plans to support....etc. etc. One thing about NHC & IOS....I feel that there will be strong future support for it...new plates for emerging new optics, etc.

I simply want to future-proof as much as I can.

I really like everything I'm hearing from Quantico owners.....and ACW owners, in general. They are obviously solid guns....which is what I'm wanting. A gun that will hold up over the years and get me through carry, range fun, training, home defense, etc.

I'm gonna do something soon.

Soon.

A couple new pics of the Alchemy Prime Charcoal Blue, I haven't shot it yet, hoping to in the next few weeks. I scrubbed the serial number but the photo is otherwise untouched. The bluing is super nice. I didn't think they were making these anymore but one popped up brand new at Iron Cowboy a couple weeks back.

ACW‘s Charcoal finish costs a pretty penny, but rivals any blued finish I’ve ever seen. That’s stunning.

Sublime. Just received my Quantico.45 shipping notice. 🕰
Ordered last July, so 8 months which was the estimated ship time. 👍🏼👍🏼

Thank you, I feel lucky to have grabbed it

According to Rob, the process requires an additional 10hrs to polish and prep before sending off to Turnbull. Thats where the pennies add up. Here is comparison shot between the finishes on the regular blued Prime Elite & Prime Charcoal Blue.

Thanks for sharing that, I’ve never seen a side by side photo. Charcoal finish is fabulous, but ACW’s blued is really nice as well.

I'll see ya guys back here next year, or in the classifieds section for the "divorce" sale. We'll see which one comes first...🤣

Wait times seem to be shortening, perhaps you will have an early Christmas 🎅

That would be fantastic!

Yesterday morning I just couldn't take it any longer so I ordered a Prime Elite in .38 Super, ball cuts, naked slide, Novak adjustable sight, and Ironwood grips. I called this morning to change my order to HC frame and the lady said possibly October.

I'm excited to join the club and kinda surprised atleast one ACW in the stable isn't a prerequisite for membership here...😁

Edited with a pic from Nick of one similar to my order (I did make sure it was okay to share). We also ditched the adjustable Novaks as well. Great customer service, I can't wait to get mine.
