I’m a sucker for leather with 1911s but you can’t overlook the speed advantage of kydex. If it were me and I had to pick, it would be leather.

Leather for the winter and the kydex for hot summers.

Me... leather for blue. Kydex would be hard/harsh on blue surfaces where leather will wear the blue for a more desired look.

I picked the VM2 up from @Karl Beining when he got his Holster shipment in, very comfortable. I still like the kydex mag carrier better than the leather ones I have.

yes they are the factory ACW grips that come with the color case harden guns.
