Thank you for sharing. Very informative post. Setting aside the MIM debate, there are other topics of interest. First, I noted the hammer strut pin is staked. Second, the frame holes are of interest to me. I always am interested if the frame holes are correct in size, location, and orthogonal to the frame. Frames that have all three usually are decent frames as in spec parts function well. Third, the finish wear on the parts, especially the hammer strut and sear is interesting. It suggests there may be some rubbing. If that can be resolved, the trigger pull should be smoother if not lighter.
