Buy three cases and you'll pay 40 cents per round shipped. Regardless of quantity it'll still come out cheaper, and I like S&B a good bit. Both deals are about as good as it gets for name brand 45 right now after tax and ship.

I love both brands - 1A & 1B for me really, but I'll often pay a couple more bucks for the AE. Shaw Arms is great too.

Side note - inventory for 45ACP has been great lately, I've seen it everywhere and prices appear to be coming down to that $20/box range

Looks like the AE is 50 fps slower assuming they use the same barrel length for chrono, or that their numbers are even accurate.

The link you provided stated 809 fps in the listing.

Without barrel lengths identified, velocity data is valueless. It blows my mind that most companies do not list what they record their ammo out of.

Without barrel lengths identified, velocity data is valueless. It blows my mind that most companies do not list what they record their ammo out of.

Also, it looks like Velocity Ammo mixed up the numbers 809 vs 890. Federal and S&B websites I would believe to be accurate. I may be wrong, but I think Federal is the hottest of the usual suspects of readily available 45ACP ball which is why I believe uncle Les wants you to specifically pump American Eagle through his pistols for break in.

Must be the mobile version of the site that doesn't list that. It is a common phenomenon however.
