I just bought tickets for Saturday night. Fleetwood Mac! Hell yeah.
You lucky dog!
Fleetwood Mac is and always has been one of my favorite bands from the 1970's and 1980's. My best friend's Dad worked at the local GM/Pontiac/Cadillac dealer and he always called them "Cadillac Mac" as Cadillac had a model called Fleetwood.
I fell in love with Stevie Nicks before her and Lindsey Buckingham were members of this band.
Just put in the earbuds and listened to all three. Thanks for that RED.
I have been a Fleetwood Mac fan from way back. really like a lot of their early stuff, like Black Magic Woman
I've always wanted to see them. Good job!
The jacket was a flop so maybe these tickets will be a good gift.
You’re only 1000 miles away.
My favorite song is "Silver Springs" and then "Landslide" and "Go Your Own Way".
Should be a great show, but I just heard a few days ago that Lindsey Buckingham had filed a lawsuit over being ousted from the band? Hopefully he'll be there too.
**** closing my eyes and listening to your "Landslide" post... Stevie Nicks in my head ... just Wow!***
They'll be here Nov.1. One of my fondest memories of Fleetwood Mac, was the summer of '92, when I was working in radio. KLIN - TON I had 'commandeered' their music as his theme, but curiously enough, NOT this song. So I'd ALWAYS intro it as, "Another classic hit from Fleetwood Mac - it's Bill Clinton's campaign theme - on the ZEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow. Everything in the future is up to you. Destiny is a fallacy. You make your own destiny. Truth.
How'd we get to The Terminator?! I thought we were talking about Fleetwood Mac?!
My wife took me to see Stevie Nicks last year. Great show, Stevie was awesome, and it was very laid back almost like a "Storytellers" atmosphere. It was a tad pricey, but not too bad. It's a shame about Lindsey not touring. IMHO he's one of the most under rated guitarists out there.
We passed on Fleetwood tickets a few years back because they were just so damn high even for nose bleed. At least getting to see Stevie made up for it a little bit.
Here's a recording of Gold Dust Woman I made when we saw Stevie last year. It's not the best picture quality as we were in the upper nose bleed level, but the sound was pretty good for a hand held digital camera.
I’m about to call Uber. This is gonna be great
