My apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere here and I missed it, but I just saw this Colt note from shot show, and thought it was interesting:


[side note- I know the Python is being dragged on here a bit due to some clear problems, but hopefully they iron this out and make good on the Anaconda]

I was particularly excited by the mention of ‘higher calibers’— I would definitely sell some stuff to get my hands on a 454 anaconda

There was another clip where a Colt rep referenced releases later this year, something to the effect that if consumers liked the new Pythons they would be thrilled with the next releases.

The original Anacondas had some accuracy issues, might have been bore issues or the forcing cone. I hope Colt first gets this Python thing squared away, then when they do release the Anaconda it is bug free. I don't want to see Colt take two hits in a row.
