Keep it that way with a French drain system...
All open drainage, lot of hardwood so lots of leaves. Easy to keep clean, even by hand.
Couple spots, just to keep pitch is almost enough to roll the truck....
Would say things are starting to come together.
Actually been able to relax a bit last couple days.
Have to get some wood in,the Valor likes HST's, Christmas shopping done, even got porridge for my Tomte!
Time for my daily update (??).
Morning project, duallies
Power washing fool.
30+ years of crud.
Old sealer was hit or miss.He must have paid the guys in Shaefer longnecks cuz it sure looks like party work!
Looking great! Nice dualies! Night and day from when you started. Now you just have to keep those pesky bears out of you trash cans...I suggest you call the shark...
More sh*t at the halfway point...
No idea why the order is off....oh well.
Kitchen thing is a wall cut down, kept it just for outlets and heaters.
At some point it will be like a breakfast counter thing...Honest!!
And halfway thru sealing the front.
"One piece at a time..."
Never goes as quickly as you think it will, does it? LOL
Lookin' good, dude!!
Estimate time,multiply by 10!
Lot has been blending. I'd say it was sealed like a year or two after sided. And washed at that time. Had some wicked diggers to blend. Few inches makes a difference between removing wood and just spraying water. Real bitch on a ladder with 15' of wand!!
Man ,Kippy you’ve come a long way since you started.
But the master bath rooms still a little sketchy
Lookin goood Kippy as always a craftsman to the end
Looks as if you have been using your time wisely Ol man.
Have you thought of putting up corrugated metal to cover the concrete between the ground and the wooden siding? There is a foam insulating backer that can be placed on the back of the metal that will help insulate and keep pests out.
Foundation wall isn't perfectly straight.
Had toyed with faux stone, like a backsplash.Problem is some would be proud of the siding. Probably parge it.Low maintenance stuff!
A few have suggested hedges to cover....NO!!!! Not into trimming, and no one ever see's this house. Huge plus for me!!!
Like this Sonny,about a 10' section.
No water intrusion so hate to add then get problems after.
Am open to ideas,be quite a bit before I get to that
Think about something like fauxstone exterior panels! https://stonewoodpanels.com/?msclkid=573ea787a5a81a87f99cf8859f1e3cff&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=**LP Search - US - Non-TM&utm_term=exterior panels&utm_content=Exterior Panels
Think a fieldstone look would be more in touch with the setting.
I could get the look with something like Drive-it...till ya got close, then it'd look f*cked up.
Christ, just noticed the damn wreath is still up.
Well, past the halfway to Christmas....or,it's my Freedom Wreath in keeping with @Glock2740 's new tradition!
Wasn't going too say anything!
