All open drainage, lot of hardwood so lots of leaves. Easy to keep clean, even by hand.
Couple spots, just to keep pitch is almost enough to roll the truck....

    Estimate time,multiply by 10!
Lot has been blending. I'd say it was sealed like a year or two after sided. And washed at that time. Had some wicked diggers to blend. Few inches makes a difference between removing wood and just spraying water. Real bitch on a ladder with 15' of wand!!

Have you thought of putting up corrugated metal to cover the concrete between the ground and the wooden siding? There is a foam insulating backer that can be placed on the back of the metal that will help insulate and keep pests out.

    Foundation wall isn't perfectly straight.
Had toyed with faux stone, like a backsplash.Problem is some would be proud of the siding. Probably parge it.Low maintenance stuff!
A few have suggested hedges to cover....NO!!!! Not into trimming, and no one ever see's this house. Huge plus for me!!!

Think a fieldstone look would be more in touch with the setting.
I could get the look with something like Drive-it...till ya got close, then it'd look f*cked up.
