Any recent experiences with Adams Arms?

Contemplating a AR in 308/7.62. I have a POF P415 Edge in 223/5.56, with a suppressor, love it. A buddy has an Adams AR15, with a suppressor, he likes his.

I would go for a POF Revolution piston 308, but...cha-ching! Adams has their P2 308 for a much nicer price. Overall specs seem comparable, the info I can find on Adams seems good, but a few years old. I am very familiar with "buy once, cry once", but it's Christmas, budget is thin, y'all know the drill.

Anyone have anything on current Adam Arms ARs?

Adams Arms has always been on a rocky path. 2020 they were bought by their creditors. They really haven’t progressed much since.

Personally, I stay away from companies who have financial issues and have proprietary parts.

Merry Christmas…..

Thanks, good advice. The severe lack of independent info was a concern, but hearing more of their story makes this an easy decision to pass.

it really sucks because they had/have some very innovative ideas.

I bought a Brownells BRN180
The gun is awesome but support is kinda disappointing. Spare parts are next to nil. I ended ip buying a spare upper just to have spare parts. Fricking stupid idea, but I love the AR180’ish design…..so, I’m an idiot
