I've been thinking about getting one of these RIA XT-22 Mag.
Would like to know if they are worth the money.

I saw one in a local gun shop this week, and thought it was pretty nice.

I'd also like to hear from someone who has actually shot it.

Neat concept, as I love 22mag!

I'd like to know too, and wonder how it compares to the Keltec PMR30. Seems like it's sold out at a lot of places. Maybe supply is just low.
It looks like fun, and something my gf might like.

Ive only handled one in a LGS, & man were they proud of it ($500?).

The slide would not return fully when working the action (even sling shoting it) & I had to push it from the rear to get it to close fully (on the example I handled).

May have been because it was brand new & needed oil, ect...

It was well made IMHO.

I really like their mini-380, but have only handled one & havent fired either.

My best buddy's friend bought one. They went to the range and all he could talk about was how well it shot. They were putting clay targets on the burm at 60 yards and he said he could break 10 out of 10. He said it shocked him and the next day he ordered one on line. I haven't talked to him since he got it, we had other things going on.
I've never shot one but that's what he told me and was impressed enough to buy one for his own.

I don't have any experience with this gun, but I came across this review in American Rifleman:

https://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2018/10/26/tested-rock-island-armory-xt-22-magnum/

It sounds like the barrel is too short to fully exploit the potential of 22 WMR. They mention seeing evidence of unburned powder. That doesn't mean you can't still have fun with this. Just do so knowing that your not going to get the full magnum power that the cartridge is capable of.

RIA also makes a gun chambered in .22 TCM. 22 TCM is effectively a shortened version of .223 Rem. It's a cool concept.

I had a .22TCM/ 9mm combo in the double stack 1911 and it was great, but a little big for my hands.
But I'm a big fan of the .22TCM!
It's a potent little fireball of a round.
I just hate having a caliber that only Armscor makes ammo for.

Agreed Pew Pew - I found some Speer Gold Short Barrel ammo that’s made for...well...short barrels..

They make a single stack 22 TCM ac well I believe, which I'd be happy with if I got another.
