Emailed the usual Gunsmiths in SoCal and the only one who responded is not taking work.

I have two Wesson 1911’s, a Valor Commander and A PM-9. Both are stainless and 9mm. Both are essentially new.

I want the following work performed on both:

Install EGW ambi safeties

Countersink slide stop pin.

Evaluate both guns for reliability and, if necessary, perform a reliability package.

If any $$ left, undercut the frame

Not really concerned about a perfect refinish as the goal is to shoot them for a year, figure out what else they need, if anything, and then DLC.

Anyone interested and can get this done in a timely fashion?

Thanks, Mark

@Integrity Arms

Steve is great, better than great, and maybe needs a smaller job to fill in between his major builds

Cifaldi was the only one to reply. He is Buried in work, babysitting kids, and not taking new jobs.

I was reminded about Will O’Hara. Will try him tomorrow.

Appreciate tour input.

That's pretty simple work, and wouldn't take very long. Guess you need more 'smiths out there. ;)

Edit: Steve at Integrity is a good recommendation.
