My new Premier 11 9mm was almost flawless for the 1st hundred rounds ( failed to go into battery one time) I decided to put another 100 rounds thru it. First 7 rounds went good but gun failed to cycle I tried to drop the magazine but it wouldn’t budge. Tried to cycle the gun won’t move at all. I know Baer’s customer service is not their strong point anyone have any suggestions

Do you know if the round stuck is live or fired?

Can you cock the hammer manually and fire?

LB customer service is not bad, you have to pay shipping though. The only issue is having the live round stuck.

Make sure safety is off...strike muzzle on wood table or similar. Using lead uncoated rounds?

    Don't pull on it.
Grasp slide in a gorilla grip, hang on TIGHT.
Slam your other hand onto the grip HARD.
This will often pull a stuck case without resorting to tools.

What ammo? If handloads or reloads, it is smart to gauge or plunk ammo 100%.

Using American Eagle 124 gain. Crazy John said that was ammo they used at Les Baer for testing. I thinkI will take it to a local gunsmith and hopefully get it back the same day.
Ed Brown also said to use American Eagle 123gr for first hundreds rounds
    Very disappointed

Sorry to hear that. Hope you get it up and running very soon.

And +1 on Baer's CS, or lack thereof. Sucks.

I used your suggestion and I’d freed everything up. There was no round in the gun. I remembered that I only loaded 7 rounds in one magazine. I have been running it wet. Every 4 magazines I oil the rails, barrel and chamber. Still think I will let my gunsmith check it out

Thanks for your help. I hope this is the last issue with the gun. The good news is I am getting use to the sights and the 7 rounds I fired were grouping better. I should have the new front sight with gold bead by Tuesday and hopefully I will shoot closer to the guns potential

Are you using the LB mags or what brand are you using?
Also, if your front sight is pinned in place, it is a blind hole and getting the pin out might be a chore.

Stay with it , keep running the pistol very wet and don’t take it down , this creates a slurry that helps work the pistol in ,creating a tight smooth very accurate pistol.
Baers are built with a different build philosophy,( Les can be a little different too ) stick with it you’ll be happy .
Enjoy your new Ed Brown ,great pistol , great shooter but the Baer over time just seems to fit , Baers are the work horses of the market ,made to be used hard !
    Good luck

The magazine may be toast since it would not drop. It may not have played well with your replacement slide stop if the replacement was in the gun. I think I am thinking of the right gun.

A rubber mallet is good to have. Remove firing pin when trapped live round is a possibility.

Glad you got things free of each other!

Let 1911 Heaven deal with Baer if needed.
